Blake Shelton is a proud dad to several dogs with wife Miranda Lambert, but there's one furball in his life he could do without.
"I don't like cats, so I stay away," the country singer told New York Magazine of fellow The Voice judge Cee Lo's newest accessory, a white cat named Purrfect. "I love Cee Lo, but I avoid him when he's holding that smelly cat."
Since the singing competition returned to the airwaves for its second season, the R&B crooner seldom makes appearances without the fluffy white cat by his side. And while much like the audience, Shelton is confused by her presence, he does acknowledge she's been a part of Cee Lo's plans all along.
"I do remember in season one, I remember when he actually had the idea to have the cat," he said. "I remember him saying, to me, into my ear hole, 'I want a cat. I want to be able to sit here and pet a cat while I'm on The Voice.'"
