Although they were partners throughout the season and even ended up winning the competition, it was Durst's bombshell announcement – she got engaged to fellow contestant Blake Julian – during the final episode that caused a permanent rift in their rapport.
"I think the show ruined the friendship with the way they portrayed everything in the finale," Durst tells PEOPLE. But she and Julian are not letting Stagliano's hard feelings get in the way of their wedding planning.
"I wish the wedding were tomorrow," she says. "I'm really excited and really happy about the rest of my life. I can't wait for that to begin. I'm not nervous at all."
Durst hopes that "pretty much everyone" from her cast will watch her walk down the aisle on her big day June 2 – with the exception of Stagliano, who will not receive an invite.
"That relationship ended a long time ago," she says. "So there's no need to continue on with the past when you're trying to build a future."
The Chocolate Socks children's book author says she and Julian are "inviting about 175" people to their Greenville, S.C., nuptials, including Bachelor Pad alumni Jake Pavelka, Justin Rego, Ella Nolan, Kirk DeWindt, William Holman, Jackie Gordon and her new boyfriend Craig.
"We have a wonderful wedding planner, Lindsay Pitt, and she's doing everything," says Durst, who's already selected an Alfred Angelo gown.
"I'm not stressed at all because she's pretty much taken on the whole load herself. I think I'm the complete opposite of a bridezilla. So anything [Pitt suggests], I'm like, 'Okay.' I'm not picky at all. I want something super simple, but elegant."
