Jennie Garth Moves Her Daughters out of L.A. for CMT Reality Show
Jennie Garth has never quite understood the appeal of big city life – and now she's heading out of town with some reality TV cameras in tow.
On April 20, Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country premieres on CMT (watch a clip above). The show will follow the newly-single Garth as she and her daughters – Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5 – ditch L.A. carpools and celebrity shindigs for a simpler life in Santa Ynez Valley, Calif. Along with a farm-averse assistant and a house full of dogs, Garth tackles country life for the first time since leaving her childhood home in rural Illinois.
Although the reality show will deal with Garth's recent split from Peter Facinelli after 11 years of marriage, the Twilight actor will not appear on camera.
Not that country life is totally unprecedented for the actress, who's been a Hollywood darling since rising to fame in Beverly Hills, 90210 and has raised her three daughters in L.A. At heart, as Garth told PEOPLE in 2009, "I'm really just a country girl!"
