Dr. Jennifer Arnold and Bill Klein Want to Adopt a Child with Special Needs
After the heartbreak of their surrogate's miscarriage in November, Dr. Jennifer Arnold and husband Bill Klein, the stars of The Little Couple on TLC , are still determined to start a family.
And now they're looking into adopting a child with special needs, including babies who are born with dwarfism.
"It's always been on our radar and I think it's time we start getting serious about it," Arnold says in a clip from their show, which returns to TLC Tuesday (10 p.m. ET).
Going through a list of available babies on an adoption web site, Arnold notes that she and Klein would "consider a child with special needs," adding, "that's exactly what we're looking for."
Arnold explains: "My entire life, even before I met Bill, I always thought, 'Oh, I'd love to adopt a child who is another little person.' And Bill and I talked about it after we got married, and I think we both realized we both would like that."
Speaking to her hubby with a big smile, the neonatologist goes on to say, "If we could just adopt all the little people on the web page, we could fill the house really quickly."
