It's good practice for parenthood!
Nick Lachey and his expectant wife Vanessa cradled the critters at Sydney's Taronga Zoo this week, and shared photos of the experience on Twitter.
"Giving & getting some Love at the Sydney Zoo!" they both Tweeted, sharing a collage of their meet-and-greet. The couple, who are expecting their first child later this year, posed next to a koala and shared a close-up of a nosey kangaroo.
In a few months, the pair will be cooing over an entirely different animal: a newborn!
