Adam Levine Will Appear on American Horror Story
The Maroon 5 frontman and judge on The Voice put rumors to rest and confirmed that he will be joining the cast of American Horror Story.
"It is the truth," Levine, 33, told E! News's Ryan Seacrest. "I don't know how much I can divulge, because [series co-creator] Ryan [Murphy] is very under wraps."
He's also "really great," adds Levine. "And I love the fact that he believes in me to throw me out there."
Levine will play one half of a couple known as "the Lovers" on the creepy FX hit, E! reports. And he's not letting his lack of acting experience get in the way, despite joining a veteran, award-winning cast (including Jessica Lange).
"It's going to be fun," says Levine. "I told [Murphy] I really didn't know what I was doing, but he didn't seem to really care. … I think I'm going to be kind of playing myself, so hopefully it will be easy."
No word yet on who will play the other half of "the Lovers." American Horror Story returns for its second season this fall.
