Watch out: Amanda Bynes
is back behind the wheel.
The former Nickelodeon actress didn't let a DUI arrest
on April 6 stop her from hitting the party circuit – and backing over a curb with her car while using her iPhone behind the wheel on Thursday night.
A scantily clad Bynes, 26, was photographed with her thumb on the screen of her white iPhone, reportedly texting, as her rear wheels were over a red zone. It is illegal to text or to use a cell phone (unless it's hands-free) while driving in California.
She was "not even looking at the road," a photographer tells PEOPLE, adding that the actress "went right through a stop sign."
The troubled starlet was spotted with an unidentifiable male, headed to Greystone Manor Supperclub – the same place she partied
the night of her arrest.
"Amanda and a male friend arrived at the club before midnight," an eyewitness tells PEOPLE. "She was behind the wheel of a black BMW. When Amanda saw the photographers, she tried to hide under her sweater as she entered the club. Amanda was in a good mood."
Bynes reportedly met with high-profile DUI attorney Richard Hutton shortly after making bail following her arrest, according to Page Six
. Hutton is the same lawyer who represented Paris Hilton
during her infamous case in 2007
when she went to jail for driving under the influence.
