Police have charged a second person in the murder of Brittany Killgore, the missing Marine wife whose body was found outside San Diego on April 17.

Marine Staff Sgt. Louis Ray Perez, 45, who was already in jail on charges of illegal possession of an assault rifle, was arrested on new charges Tuesday in connection with Killgore's murder, CNN reports.

Perez had previously been deemed a "person of interest" in Killgore's slaying because he was the last known person to see her alive, according to reports. Killgore, 22, was leaving her apartment to go on a date with Perez the night she disappeared, four days before her body was discovered, according to CNN.

Last week, police arrested Jessica Lynn Lopez, 25, and charged her with murdering Killgore. Lopez, who had attempted suicide and reportedly left a detailed note behind, has pleaded not guilty.

Perez and Lopez previously lived at the same address in Fallbrook, Calif., according to reports.

Police have also uncovered posts Perez, a 16-year military veteran, allegedly made on bondage and alternative sex websites.

In one personal ad, Perez allegedly writes under the alias "Ivan," "I am lord and master, dom and daddy of my house. My slave, Ms. Dee, is a slave to no one, but myself," according to San Diego's CBS News 8.

Records show that "Dee" owns the home where Perez and Lopez lived, CBS 8 reports.

On the same website, "Dee" describes herself as "an alpha slave to master Ivan. We have a poly home in which I own two slave girls. Life is good."

Police have not said what connection, if any, Killgore has to the sites or to Lopez and Perez.

Perez is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
