The dinner was delicious and so were the jokes at Saturday evening's White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Held in the Washington Hilton ballroom, the event – known as the "nerd prom" – honors journalists and features celebrity guests, as well as a comedian emcee – this year, Jimmy Kimmel.
The zingers came fast and furious once the President hit the stage. Poking fun at his probable general-election opponent, Mitt Romney, Obama joked, "We both have degrees from Harvard. I have one, he has two. What a snob."
Following the President, Kimmel didn't let Obama off easy. "Remember when the country rallied around you in hope for a better tomorrow?" he joked. "That was a good one."
