Jessica Simpson's Family Arrives at the Hospital

This is turning into some May Day for Jessica Simpson.

At the center of the event everyone's been waiting for, the expectant mother was joined at the hospital by her family and that of her fiancé, Eric Johnson, according to new photographs of the families – including sister Ashlee Simpson.

The relatives aren't the only ones awaiting the arrival. Katy Perry expressed her eagerness in a Tweet, saying, "Has Jessica Simpson had that baby yet?! I'm getting anxious."

Chimed in Chelsea Handler in a sarcastic Tweet of her own: "How has jessica simpson still not given birth to this baby? I'm getting frightened."

TMZ.com first posted photos of the Simpson family arriving at the hospital.

Simpson gave birth Tuesday to daughter Maxwell Drew.
