Busy Philipps Treated her 3-year-old daughter Birdie to a day of play.
Arriving at Paul Frank's Mommy & Me Celebration with Babies 'R' Us in Beverly Hills on last week, the actress's little one couldn't wait to try on a new outfit given to her in a custom gift bag.
"She said the clothes were her favorite color: pink!" an event-goer tells PEOPLE.
But the cheery tot didn't start out so energetic.
"When Busy and Birdie first arrived, Birdie wouldn't let anyone take pictures of her," the source says. "But by the time she made it into the event, she was posing left and right, playing with the other children and dancing to the music."
