No need for a long speech or laundry list of "thank you" shout-outs.
When Johnny Depp took the stage to accept the generation award at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, broadcast live from Los Angeles's Gibson Amphitheatre, the veteran actor showed off another one of his enviable talents.
Depp, 48, grabbed his guitar to jam with rock duo The Black Keys, who launched into their hit "Gold on the Ceiling."
"This is quite an amazing honor," he told the audience, moments after receiving praise from famed rockers Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. His punch line (yes, another talent!): "It's like the get-out-of-the-business award – you've done too much."
But if he was to leave the big-screen business, he seems to have a solid back-up plan. So tell us: Would you rock out with Depp if he tried his hand in the music industry?
