Jamie Lynn Spears Sings a Song About Britney Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears is following in her sister Britney's footsteps in pursuing a music career, and in a new song, she explains just how much she admires her older sister.

The younger Spears, 21, debuted the tune, called "I Look Up to You," onstage Thursday, during a showcase at the 3rd and Lindsley Bar & Grill in Nashville, Tenn.

"You can imagine who I wrote it about," Spears said as she introduced the folksy number.

"Scared little girl ... They took away your innocence," Spears sings in the opening verse.

The sisters have always been close, so it's a safe bet to assume Britney is a fan of the song, but the X Factor judge has not yet commented publicly.
