He's an 18-year-old man now. But in his painful memories, he said, he'll always be a little boy, less than 70 pounds, alone in a basement, where he was repeatedly raped and forced to perform oral sex.

His tormentor, he says, was Jerry Sandusky.

"There was no fighting against it," the recent high school graduate told the jury at Sandusky's trial. "Sometimes [I'd] scream, sometimes tell him to get off me, but other than that, who was there? We were in the basement, no one could hear you down there."

Those in the courtroom in Bellefonte, Pa., were brought to tears by the testimony of the witness identified only as Victim 9, the last in a string of alleged victims of sexual abuse called by prosecutors against Sandusky.

After four days of graphic, heartbreaking testimony, in which the men described physical and mental pain and feelings of deep shame and confusion, the prosecution is expected to rest early next week.

Sandusky, 68, a longtime assistant to famed Penn State football coach Joe Paterno, is charged with 52 counts of child sex abuse and faces a potential sentence of life in prison. Sandusky has denied the charges against him.

The case shook the once-highly respected Penn State football program to the core and brought down Paterno.

There was also testimony that the coach molested victims in the locker-room showers by groping them when they were naked.

Despite the alleged abuse, many of the boys returned to Sandusky. The alleged victims, prosecutors say, all came from a Sandusky-founded charity for underprivileged youth.

Under cross-examination by Sandusky's attorney, one man, identified as Victim 3, said, "He made me feel like I was part of something like a family. … He gave me things that I never had before. I didn't want to give it up. I loved him."
