It's been four movies in the making, and the final showdown of the Twilight saga is (almost) upon us.
A new trailer for the final installment, Breaking Dawn: Part 2, shows Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan embracing her new role as a full-fledged vampire and expands on previously-released teasers.
"After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I've finally found that I can shine. I was born to be a vampire," Stewart intones at the start of the clip.
The werewolf Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner, says of Bella's transformation: "I didn't expect you to seem so … you."
The movie centers on Stewart and her on-screen husband, Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen, trying to protect their daughter, Renesmee, played by newcomer Mackenzie Foy.
"I'll never let anybody hurt you," Bella promises the girl in the preview.
Their efforts culminate in what, from the new trailer, appears to be an epic outdoor battle between the Cullens and the Volturi, a powerful coven of law-enforcing vampires.
Breaking Dawn: Part 2 arrives in theaters Nov. 16.
