VIDEO: Meet Thompson Square's New Puppy

Husband-and-wife country stars Thompson Square are no longer a duo – but rather, a trio with the addition of new puppy Etta!

The 19-week-old pooch has turned their tour bus into a puppy zone, where the black snorkie (a miniature schnauzer and Yorkie mix) has her own playpen filled with toys and assorted beds where she can kick back.

"She's growing up on the road," says Keifer Thompson. "She's a rock-and-roll dog."



But, adds his wife Shawna, training the pup in a moving vehicle does have its challenges. "It's been a little tough … if she's gotta go, we have to pull the bus over," she says. "I think it's a little confusing to her, but she's doing good."

Fresh from their win for best duo video of the year at the CMT awards, Thompson Square came to our Manhattan studios to talk about their partnership with Purina Dog Chow on Dog Families Know, a new online community where people can share stories about their dog's impact on their lives, for a good cause (Purina will donate $1 to Patriot Rovers, Inc., a group that trains psychiatric service dogs, for every story told).
