Alec Baldwin Shuts Down His Twitter
The 30 Rock star, 54, who married yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas over the weekend, shut down his popular Twitter page on Monday.
On his now-defunct feed, Baldwin's followers had read everything from his side of the story after his scuffle with a photographer last month, to his strong opinion about the Academy Awards ("I think a horse, or maybe a cow, should host the Oscars," he Tweeted last February) and his wedding-planning woes.
"It's been fun," he wrote before disabling his personal page, reports New York's Daily News.
It's a message he reiterated on the Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter page, which appears to be his only current presence on the Twitter-sphere now. (The foundation supports art and artists, amateur and professional, according to the page description.)
Baldwin's Twitter account was previously deactivated last December after he was removed from a flight for playing mobile game Words With Friends, a dramatic departure which he live-Tweeted.
Perhaps he's just too busy enjoying newlywed life to take to Twitter: On Sunday, he was photographed with his wife and daughter Ireland, 16, on a family outing in New York's Alphabet City.
