Abandoned puppies, never fear – Miranda Lambert is here.
The animal advocate, who is a mom to at least nine dogs herself, rescued six abandoned puppies she discovered outside of a daycare facility in Oklahoma, and is now searching for permanent homes for the set through her MuttNation Foundation animal charity.
Named Conway, Jackson Brown, Cabella, Bentley, Whitley and Ms. Danks, the six puppies are 7-week-old German shorthaired pointers. An older dog, estimated to be 9 months old, was also found with the group, and is a Labrador mix.
Though they won't be residing with Lambert and husband Blake Shelton forever, that hasn't stopped the country star from getting attached. In addition to naming them, Lambert posted photos with each puppy and shared insight into each of their personalities on the MuttNation Foundation Facebook page.
"He's got to be somebody's baby," she wrote of her personal favorite, Jackson Brown, "and you need him if you are runnin' on empty!"
