The Minnesota Zoo now has double the cuteness thanks to the arrival of a 3-week-old female Amur tiger cub born at the Saint Louis Zoo.
The cub, hand-reared from birth, traveled on a Delta Air Lines flight to get to Minneapolis, where she has been examined and joined with the Minnesota Zoo's resident Amur tiger cub, which has also been hand-reared.
"Tigers learn from other tigers," curator Stever Bircher said in a statement. "That kind of socialization with a cub her age will be good for this cub."
