Ashlee Simpson: Bronx Loves the New Puppy

After introducing a new baby to the household, Ashlee Simpson and her family have reached a good balance.

In May, Simpson brought home a French bulldog puppy named Alabama, and her 3-year-old son Bronx had mixed feelings about his furry sibling.

"At first he was so excited, and then he was like, 'Wait! She's playing with my toys!'" Simpson told PEOPLE last week at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy III in New York. "Now he is so in love with her. It's great."

Alabama, nicknamed Bam Bam, might be fighting with Bronx for space soon. "She's getting big," Simpson said. "She's the cutest thing in the world. She's such a little lover."
