The "Teenage Dream" singer, 27, who is currently dating Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, tells the September Elle that she is "a woman who likes to be courted – strongly."
When it comes to giving marriage another go, she says simply, "Never say never ... I'll let love take the lead on that."

Perry, who caters primarily to a young, female fan base, doesn't necessarily consider herself a role model, but is mindful of her public actions.
"I have no regrets," she says. "I'm not going to be everything to everyone. I can't tell a person when it's time for them to have sex, or if they should have a cigarette ... But I try to live my life with a lot of integrity, and hopefully that sends a message."
