Scratch one person off the list of guys who Taylor Swift could be referring to in her latest tell-all song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Joe Jonas – who alluded to splitting from the star, 22, in a 2008 MySpace post – is adamant that the tune, which is about a couple who can't stay broken up, is not based on him.
"I don't think we've ever tried [to get back together] another time, so I can tell you it's not about me," Jonas, 23, said during an interview posted on Wednesday with Washington, D.C.'s 94.7 Fresh FM radio. "That said, I think the song is great. Taylor does pop music really well and I'm happy for her."
Jonas, who said he and his ex keep in touch "as much as we can," is such a big fan of her music that he's even gone to see her perform.
"I haven't really spoken to her recently, but I was able to go to her concert last year, and her show live is so phenomenal," he says. "I would say anybody should go see it if they haven't had a chance."
So, with process of elimination, it's now down to John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner as possible subjects of Swift's latest piece.
As for Swift, she has moved on with her new beau Conor Kennedy.
