Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Divorce Is Finalized

The five-year marriage of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is officially over.

A New York judge signed off on the final judgment on Monday, a source close to the couple confirms.

This marks an unusually speedy end to one of Hollywood's most celebrated unions – Holmes only filed for divorce in June.

Cruise, 50, and Holmes, 33, are said to remain on amicable terms, continuing to communicate for the sake of daughter Suri, 6, who lives with mom in New York and gets liberal visitation – and travel – with dad.
