is stepping back into the spotlight.
The singer, who recently entered treatment
to address emotional issues, is headed to the Midwest for a series of concerts this weekend – and she's excited about facing her fans.
"I'm on a plane headed to see all my fans in Wisconsin tonight," she wrote in a Friday morning blog post
titled "Back At It" in advance of her show at the Regional Arts Center in Eau Claire. "I can't wait to play, I'm so ready. I've got a zillion fashion mags, my journal, iPod, water and a butterfinger. I'm all set :)"
"Seems I've developed a sweet tooth after turning 30
," her post continues. "If that's all that comes with 30, I think I'm settling in pretty well. So far, the new decade is treating me great! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I look forward to seeing all of my fans and friends over the next 3 days."
Rimes is also scheduled to perform on Saturday in Spencer, Iowa, and on Sunday in Carmel, Ind.
The singer, who also Tweeted
, "I have the best fans ever! Thank you for all your prayers, patience and unwavering love. xoxo," voluntarily entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility but is allowed to leave for her scheduled concerts. (She also has a handful of shows scheduled this month in Maine, California and Colorado.)
"This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be," Rimes told PEOPLE about her plans to seek treatment. She's also subsequently sued two women
for invasion of privacy after a phone call of her – which she claims was illegally taped – hit the web.
Nevertheless, a pal of Rimes's tells PEOPLE
she's on the road to recovery. Says the friend: "She's already feeling better, stronger."
