What Was Jessica Alba's 'DJ Sandwich' All About in N.Y.C.?
Jessica Alba and Samantha Ronson had a night on the town at Beauty & Essex in New York on Tuesday.
Arriving around 11 p.m., Alba looked ready to have fun in black skinny jeans, a silk spaghetti strap blouse and black leather pumps.
Ronson – in a striped sweater, skinny jeans and sneakers – sipped on a bourbon and coke and snacked on grilled cheese, smoked bacon and tomato soup dumplings and tuna poke wonton tacos. Meanwhile, Alba kept her meal gluten-free, ordering a Yellowtail crudo, kale and apple salad and charred shishito peppers.
Joined by two other girlfriends, the group later headed upstairs to the Pearl Lounge where Alba greeted DJ Eque, who is married to Talib Kweli, and later, Ronson hopped into the deejay booth to spin a few tunes.
"She was in her element," an onlooker tells PEOPLE of Ronson's impromptu set. "Guests loved it!"
Alba Tweeted about the night, posing with Ronson and DJ Eque, joking about her "DJ sandwich."
