Back on the set of Green Lantern, Blake Lively made a big impression on her costar Ryan Reynolds by baking him cupcakes. So it's no surprise that when the couple decided to tie the knot, they made sure to serve top notch desserts.
At the couple's wedding reception in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., on Sept. 9, guests were treated to a cream-colored tiered wedding cake with peach accents by Virginia based wedding cake designer Maggie Austin Cake, a designer known for lush floral designs.
The newlyweds also featured mini chocolate bundt cakes filled with chocolate ganache and a s'mores bar furnished by the local coffeehouse Bakehouse.
Guests also indulged in artisanal popsicles by local vendor King of Pops, which featured popsicle sticks with fun messages, like "Suck it" and "Ain't love sweet?"
Lively, 25, and Reynolds, 35, are normally very health conscious, but they don't shy away from occasional sweet treats. In fact, the actress is a self-professed domestic diva.
"I'm in a big cooking phase. That's all I talk about," she told Marie Claire recently. "If you went to my house and didn't know who it belonged to, you would not think it belonged to an actress. There's no memorabilia from my career, no showbizzy pictures on the wall. You would think it was the house of a cooking obsessive. I even have a special area set aside just for baking cupcakes."
