Judging by the five medals around his neck from the London Games, you might say Ryan Lochte had a busy summer.

Or, as he might say, "I was America in Olympics." Well, that was Seth MacFarlane's take on the swimmer during a Weekend Update skit on SNL's 38th-season premiere Saturday. Watch below.

MacFarlane, channeling the swimmer, gave anchor Seth Meyers his take on the fall TV season. On his must-see list: "Monkey Hospital," he says, "It's not fair – they give all the best lines to the monkey." Of course, he's referring to NBC's Animal Practice. His verdict? "Three swims."

And while hitting the couch and watching TV may be tempting, this fictional Lochte seems to miss spending time in the water.

"If you hold your ear up to my ear, you can hear the ocean," an in-character (and jeah-worthy) MacFarlane tells Meyers. "It feels so weird to be dry."
