Little Washington, Va., hosted some big stars recently.
Newlyweds Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who got married on Sept. 9 in South Carolina, stayed south of the Mason-Dixon line for a mini-honeymoon at Virginia's Inn at Little Washington on Saturday night, PEOPLE confirms.
Nestled in rolling hill country an hour and a half west of the nation's capital, the tiny town – population: 150 – of "Little" Washington is home to a luxurious Inn operated by Chef Patrick O'Connell.
At the Inn's restaurant, O'Connell serves up elegant French inspired fare that features locally grown food and a 14,000-bottle wine cellar, which has helped it win five James Beard Awards. Every night, guests chose from a five to 10 course dinner.
The renowned establishment houses just 18 rooms, all designed by former British set designer Joyce Evans, as well as three luxury "cottages" that allow guests total privacy. One of those cottages, the Claiborne House – a 3,200-square-foot hideaway that boasts two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a living room, dining room, media room, library and two-story veranda overlooking a private garden – rents for $2,450 a night.
Dressed comfortably in dark skinny jeans, gold sandals and a cream silk blouse, Lively, 25, sat with Reynolds, 35 at secluded table near the garden, the Washington Post reports.
The pair spent the night, then headed back to New York City, where Lively began filming Gossip Girl on Monday morning.
