Only the accountants at Ernst & Young – the official vote-counters for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences – know who will take home an Emmy during Sunday's ceremony.

Until then it's anyone's guess. But we can tell you which Emmy nominees are getting the most buzz among 170.89 million Facebook users in the U.S.

Based on the number of "Likes" and the number of mentions on the social networking site, it seems Sofia Vergara is a fan favorite. The Modern Family star leads over Kristen Wiig, Mayim Bialik, Julie Bowen, Merritt Wever and Kathryn Joosten for the supporting comedy actress category.

In the lead actress in a comedy category it's less clear whom the Facebook users are rooting for. Zooey Deschanel has more "Likes" than her fellow nominees Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Amy Poehler, Melissa McCarthy, Lena Dunham and Edie Falco. However, Tina Fey has had more mentions on Facebook since the nominations were announced on July 19.

For the men, The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons has more "Likes" than his fellow nominees Louis C.K., Larry David, Alec Baldwin, Don Cheadle and Jon Cryer. But C.K., Baldwin and David have had more mentions.

Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family has the most "Likes" in the supporting actor category, followed by his costar Ed O'Neill, SNL's Bill Hader, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Max Greenfield. But Hader leads in mentions.

Lead actress nominee Claire Danes leads with "Likes" over the rest of her category: Kathy Bates, Juilanna Margulies, Glenn Close, Elisabeth Moss and Michelle Dockery. But Bates, who recently announced she has undergone treatment for breast cancer, has had more mentions.

Dexter's Michael C. Hall leads the men in "Likes" in the drama series category, followed by Bryan Cranston, Steve Buscemi, Jon Hamm, Damian Lewis, Hugh Bonneville. But Breaking Bad's Cranston, Buscemi and Hamm have had more mentions.

Which comedy series has the most likes? The Big Bang Theory, followed by Modern Family, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Girls and Veep.

For drama, Game of Thrones is king of the "Likes," followed by Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey and Homeland. But when it comes to getting Facebook users posting, Breaking Bad leads, followed by Homeland, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Downton Abbey and Boardwalk Empire.

So, can Facebook determine who will win? Find out on Sunday.

The 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on ABC Sunday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. ET from the Nokia Theatre L.A.
