She's got a powerful voice – and one powerful kick, apparently.

On Monday night's Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Aussie comedy star Rebel Wilson proved she could belt out a tune and be her own rhythm section all at the same time.

The Pitch Perfect actress joked with Leno in the interview about how she got the role of Fat Amy in the comedy about an all-girls a cappella group.

"It's a comedy, but you also have to sing in it," Wilson said. "And they're like, 'Well, she kind of looks like Adele – but can she sing?' "

To prove her point, Wilson began crooning "The Edge of Glory" by Lady Gaga, first in a high-pitched voice before transitioning into a full-throated yelp. She also tapped out the beat on her bosom ("A lot of people sing from their chest voice, and I sing from my breast voice," she joked) before a full band kicked in to back her.

As she let the notes fly, Wilson also let her shoes fly – kicking off her heels much to the (pretend) chagrin of Leno's other guest, Bryan Cranston, who huddled for safety on his chair.
