Meet the royal family’s newest member!
Camilla Parker Bowles has adopted a 9-week-old Jack Russell terrier puppy, Clarence House confirmed Oct. 3 on Twitter
The rescue pup, named Bluebell, came from the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
in England, the same rescue where the Duchess of Cornwall found her 1-year-old tricolor Jack Russell terrier, Beth, in 2011
Bluebell is one lucky pup. Just a few weeks ago, she was found at a park suffering from a severe skin condition that left her bald and scared, the rescue said in a statement
Now healthy and happy, the active dog has regained confidence – and hair!
"We couldn't be happier that she caught the eye of the Duchess and now has such a wonderful home," said Claire Horton, chief executive of Battersea. "Bluebell will be an excellent companion for Beth and we're confident she will bring a lot of pleasure to her new family."
