Newlyweds Mark McGrath and Carin Kingsland enjoyed lunch out together at Casa Vega in Los Angeles on Thursday.

"They seemed very happy to be out," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

The couple who endured 18 years of breakups, makeups and even twins before walking down the aisle ordered up chopped guacamole, taquitos, beef tacos, a Coke and an iced tea.



"They were polite and cheerful," the source adds.
