Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC in January, replacing Ricky Gervais after two caustic years.
"Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year’s festivities is a major coup," says Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC Entertainment.
"Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama."
The funny ladies have already been a hit as awards show presenters – the Poehler-orchestrated beauty pageant sendup was the hit of the 2011 Emmy Awards – and both have Globes experience, with Fey as a winner for 30 Rock and Poehler as a nominee for Parks and Recreation.
The awards, selected by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, air live from the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 13.
