Downing Street needs a sweep – after the fur went flying on Tuesday!
Larry, the cat belonging to British Prime Minister David Cameron, who resides at 10 Downing Street, put up his dukes and scuffled with 11 Downing Street neighbor Freya, the feline of Chancellor George Osborne.
According to NBC News
, Freya clawed at Larry's neck before Larry retreated home.
It seems this cat spat has been brewing for some time. Last month, reports surfaced that Freya had replaced
Larry as resident mouser on the block, since it took the nap-loving feline a long time to make his first kill
When asked about the tense relationship between the two, a spokesman told the Telegraph
, "They coexist."
