Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting ready to play house in a big way.

The expectant parents have purchased a Bel Air, Calif., mansion for $11 million, PEOPLE has confirmed after the real estate deal was first reported by TMZ.

"It's so exciting for them," says a source. "The house is gorgeous. And they really wanted and needed the privacy."

The Italian-style villa will include a gym, movie theater, hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court and indoor and outdoor pools. For 50 photos of the 9,000-square-foot home's interior and surrounding gardens, check out Zillow.com.

West, 35, revealed Kardashian's pregnancy just before New Year's Eve during a concert in Atlantic City.

Kardashian, 32, later confirmed the news on her blog in a post titled, "New Year, New Beginnings."

"It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us," she wrote. "Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo."
