Kellie Pickler Is An Aunt!
Kellie Pickler has said she's in no rush to have kids of her own – but that doesn't mean she isn't ready to welcome a little one into her extended family.
On Tuesday, the American Idol alum, 26, posted a photo on her WhoSay account, carrying an infant in her arms.
"Finally!!!" she wrote to accompany the picture. "It'sofficial...I'm auntie Kellie!!!!!! :)."
As for expanding her own family with husband Kyle Jacobs, Pickler explained in June 2011, "I don't think people realize ... the responsibility that comes along with [parenthood]. It's almost like a fad. I don't know what's gotten into these kids where they feel like they have got to have a baby because their friend has one or whatever. They don't take into consideration that it's a very selfish thing to do if you're not prepared and ready."
