Willkommen, America's Got Talent!
Heidi Klum is joining the NBC reality show as a judge, the network announced Monday morning.
Klum told PEOPLE: "I just arrived in New Orleans, and it was hard to go to sleep last night. I'm not sure who will be more nervous though – me or the contestants!"
Speaking about her fellow judge on the show, Klum added: "I've always wanted to work with Howard Stern. I think he's so funny, charming, handsome and smart. And, yes, he did tell me to say this."
Paul Telegdy, president of NBC alternative and late-night programming said in a statement: "Heidi has an amazing career across multiple media platforms, and has built a brand that is a force in the entertainment business. She has achieved superstardom while balancing being a businesswoman and hard-working mom, bringing a huge amount of experience, discernment and taste to the panel."
He also said, "The contestants will benefit from Heidi's international sensibility and understanding of what works in today's global entertainment industry."
The model-turned-host, 39, will join fellow judges Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Mel B.
Klum is no stranger to televised competition – in addition to hosting Project Runway, she also hosts Germany's Next Top Model.
