Michelle Williams and Jason Segel Step Out Separately Post-Split

Just days after their break-up, Jason Segel and Michelle Williams were seen in public – on different ends of the country.

Segel, casual in a blue cardigan, khakis and black sneakers, was buzzing on a scooter through the streets of West Hollywood on Saturday on a burgundy Vespa.

Segel, 33, shoots How I Met Your Mother in Los Angeles, while Williams, 32, who is the mother of 7-year-old Matilda, lives in New York.

On Monday, mom and daughter were seen grocery shopping in Brooklyn.



The long distance apart for Williams and Segel was blamed for their breakup, a source told PEOPLE.

"She cares a great deal for Jason but is not ready to make a commitment," the source said about the year-long relationship. "Maybe if they were together day-to-day, she would have more confidence in a future. But not at this time."
