Following the news that Joy Behar is leaving the daytime talk show after 16½ years, fans are buzzing with who will become the new face at the table.
According to Showbiz411.com, Brooke Shields may be a contender for Behar's spot.
"She has been asked to co-host a few times," a source tells PEOPLE of Shields, 47. "They love her and she enjoys it."
Shields also has experience on other talk shows.
"She has co-hosted The Talk, Good Morning America, and the Today Show as well. She's a great host." the source adds.
