In the case of her fiancé, Tim Belusko, it was something just above his ankle: a Mortal Kombat tattoo on his calf.
"I'm not a huge tattoo person," she says, "but I loved it."
The upcoming Girl Meets World star, 31, who strips down to her skivvies for Maxim, tells the magazine the tattoo even had her reconsidering her own body art decisions.
"I actually have two of my own, which I would get laser-removed, but I'm afraid they'll look weird," she says in the April issue. "I have one on the back of my neck and I have a tramp stamp."
But it wasn't just his tattoo that touched Fishel, who remembers the emotional moment he proposed.
"When he did it, I dropped down to my knees and cried," the recent college grad says of last May's engagement.
And when the starlet isn't busy working, she occupies her time spitting hip-hop rhymes.
"I'm huge into '90s rap," she says. "It's my jam. My all-time favorite album is Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle. And if you ever really want to see me embarrass myself, put on some Notorious B.I.G. and watch me grab my crotch and mouth all the words. It's really embarrassing, but I can't help myself."
