Safe and sound ... and homeward bound.
and her family arrived back in Los Angeles on Monday after an exciting end to their vacation to Hawaii.
Perched on the back of a golf cart, Klum, 39 and her oldest son, Henry, 7, looked happy to be home, especially after a trip to a Hawaiian beach turned dangerous.
On Sunday, Henry and two nannies got sucked into a riptide
while swimming. Klum and her boyfriend Martin Kirsten
were able to rescue the group.
In a statement, Klum explained the harrowing scene: "We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water," she said.
"Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."
