Here's hoping one of the closest friendships of the Real Housewives franchise isn't done for good.

Following the dramatic interaction between Kyle Richards, 44, and Lisa Vanderpump, 52, during the Beverly Hills cast's recent reunion special, the Dancing with the Stars contestant told reporters on Monday, "I don't know" if the friendship can be saved, adding, "We all know she's changed her parameters. We'll see where we go."

Questions about the relationship were hurled Vanderpump's way following an unexpected appearance by Richards and fellow RHOBH cast members, Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville, in the DWTS audience.

"It's just an incredible experience and I'm glad that they put all of their differences aside [to cheer me on]," Vanderpump said. "And that's what life should be about – supporting each other. I'm not a perpetrator and aggressor. I call it how it is. I'm good with most of [the Housewives], to be honest."

Vanderpump, who says she and Richards have only spoken via text since the reunion, explains to PEOPLE, "It's a journey. In these shows, they want you to be honest with your feelings. I've always been known as an honest housewife, so I'm not going to compromise my integrity. I'm going to tell them exactly what I think with as much kindness as I can. But I'm happy they're here to support me. And I'm in a good place with Kim, Brandi and Taylor [Armstrong]. Kyle and I have had our moments."

But the lack of face-to-face interaction was short-lived for the pair of ex-pals, because quickly following a 21-point Viennese waltz with partner, Gleb Savchenko, Vanderpump headed out to nearby Planet Dailies restaurant in L.A., where she and hubby Ken Todd joined Glanville, Armstrong and Kyle and her husband Mauricio Umansky for an intimate meal surrounded by Bravo cameras.

By the end of the evening, the group seemed to be in chipper spirits, with Glanville even jumping – literally – into Todd's arms as he was standing up. Meanwhile, much of the rest of the remaining DWTS cast seemed very carefree while sipping on cocktails and munching on tray passed hors d'oeuvres while having a post-show party next door to Vanderpump at Mixology 101.
