If you want to see the follow-up, you may have to pay a little more than the cost of a ticket and popcorn.
After the Veronica Mars faithful ponied up more than $5 million on Kickstarter to bring their teen sleuth to the big screen, Zach Braff is now reaching out to the public to finance his next feature.
"I promise I'll put everything I have into it, and I won't let you down," Braff, 38, says in a funny pitch video (below) on Kickstarter with cameos by Jim Parsons, Donald Faison and Chris Hardwick.
The film, called Wish I Was Here, is a dramatic comedy co-written by the Scrubs star and his brother, Adam, serving as a thematic sequel to his critically lauded 2004 debut Garden State.
