20th Century Fox has secured the rights to remake Guys and Dolls, the 1955 film adaptation that starred Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando, and executives hope to cast Tatum and Gordon-Levitt, both 32, in the lead roles, Deadline reports.
Of course they do! Here's why we can't wait for it to really happen:
Gordon-Levitt isn't afraid to challenge Tatum's moves. When Gordon-Levitt hosted Saturday Night Live last September, his opening monologue took on Tatum's clothing-optional routine in Magic Mike.
They were in sync at the Oscars. Both actors were part of the Seth MacFarlane-hosted 2013 Academy Awards where Tatum paired up with Charlize Theron for a little bit of ballroom dancing, while Gordon-Levitt sang and danced alongside MacFarlane and Daniel Radcliffe.
They know that on the big screen, dancing is the way to a woman's heart. Tatum first made audiences swoon when he romanced his now-wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum in 2006's Step Up with his rhythmic arsenal. In 500 Days of Summer, Gordon-Levitt danced with an ensemble through a park to Hall & Oates's "You Make My Dreams Come True" after romancing Zooey Deschanel.
