Full House has been off the air for years, but the life lessons keep on coming.

Actress Candace Cameron Bure, who played oldest sister D.J. Tanner on the popular series, shared an important message with her Instagram followers.

Posting a photograph of her younger self posing with (from left) Andrea Barber (who played Kimmy Gibbler on the sitcom), Jeremy Miller (who starred on Growing Pains) and Jaleel White (who played the iconic Steve Urkel on Family Matters), Cameron Bure, 37, wrote "Young Hollywood 1990's. No stylist or high heels. Instead: baggie clothes, pimples & healthy weight."

She continued, "What a concept 2 show our teens today!"

That same day, Barber, 36, shared another photograph with Cameron Bure of the young costars posing on set. She Tweeted, "I do not understand why @candacecbure and I weren't fashion icons of our era! #fullhouse."

The throwback photos come just a few weeks after Cameron Bure reunited with her Full House costars Bob Saget (who played dad Danny Tanner) and Jodie Sweetin (who played Bure's sister, Stephanie Tanner).
