Aaron Collins's legacy of generosity continues, a year after his death.

The Kentucky man, who died July 7, 2012, at 30, asked his family in his will to give out $500 tips as his last wish. When they didn't have the funds to make it happen, they took his request online where generous supporters helped out. Donations amounting to close to $60,000 quickly amassed.

Last week, ABC News reported, Aaron's brother Seth Collins handed out the 54th $500 tip from the Aaron's Last Wish fund to Indianapolis waitress Beth Foster, who is a server at the city's Thre3e Wse Men Brewing Co. She was stunned by the gesture on July 2 but told TV station WRTV that the timing was wonderful.

"It couldn't have come at a better time in my life," Foster said. "I'm a teacher just looking for a job and it's kind of hard right now."

Seth Collins said his goal is to travel to all 50 states and surprise someone with a large tip each week. Indiana is his 17th state after visiting Zeus Coney Island in Lansing, Mich., for surprise No. 53. He's writing about his experiences on a blog devoted to the mission and his road trips, which keeps his brother's memory alive.

In spite of losing Aaron, spreading his generosity adds to happy memories, he said. He'll keep on until the fund runs dry.

"It never gets old," Seth Collins said. "I knew about the third one that it was never going to get old."
