Jane Lynch says her divorce from Dr. Lara Embry after three years of marriage is about as drama-free as these things get.

"It's not dramatic. It's not a horrible thing. It's something that we're dealing with," the Glee actress, 53, said Monday on the web show Larry King Now.

"It's two people who just decide it's better to go apart than stay together," she added.

Lynch says she and Embry remain friends, and she will remain close to Embry's daughter Haden. "All's good," says Lynch. "We have a little girl – she has a little girl who's very dear to me. She's 10, and she's doing great."

When King pointed out that even the smoothest divorce is difficult to go through, Lynch replied: "It is. It is. We have to remain adults, which we have. We keep everybody's – especially Haden's – good in our mind."

The episode was taped before the tragic death of Lynch's Glee costar Cory Monteith. Asked about Monteith's recent struggles, Lynch said he was doing better.

"He went to rehab, and he's out now and he's doing great," she said. "He was sober for many, many years. And he's a young man. So he just had to kind of renew his vows to sobriety."
