Justin Timberlake & Macklemore Lead MTV VMA Nominations

Odds look good that Justin Timberlake might be dancing off with a few.
Nominations for MTV's 30th annual Video Music Awards, to air live August 25 (9 p.m. ET), were announced Wednesday morning, with Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis each scoring six to lead the pack.
Timberlake, 32, has been nominated for top honors, including video of the year, best male video, best pop video and best editing, while his single "Suit & Tie" featuring Jay-Z, scored nods for best collaboration and best direction." Previously, the 20/20 Experience singer taken home seven Video Music Awards.
Macklemore & Lewis scored their first-ever VMA nominations, including video of the year, for their smash hit "Thrift Shop," while "Same Love" received a nod for best video with a social message.
The VMA’s most-coveted award, video of the year, was unveiled via MTV's Instagram and Vine video accounts, making the VMAs the first awards show to announce nominations via these social media video platforms.
In addition to Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan, other video of the year nominees were Bruno Mars's "Locked Out of Heaven," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" featuring T.I. and Pharrell, and "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift.
Other artists receiving multiple nominations were Mars, P!ink, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Swift.
This year's Video Music Awards will be broadcast from Brooklyn's Barclays Center, and fans can vote in general VMA categories, including video of the year, artist to watch, and more.
