On Thursday, the newly minted Uncle Harry told reporters at the opening of "The Sentebale: Stories of Hope" exhibition (which features photographs by Chris Jackson of Getty Images) that he met his newborn nephew the previous day at Kensington Palace, where the baby was "crying his eyes out, like all babies."
But it wasn't all tears between the two – Harry said he also had his first "cuddle" with the infant, too.
"It's fantastic to have an addition to the family," he said. "I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are!"
What does it mean to Harry to be an uncle?
He explained that his role is "to make sure he has a good upbringing, to keep him out of harm's way and make sure he has fun. The rest of it I leave to the parents."
As for which parent the new Prince resembles, Harry can't put his finger on it just yet: "I think you can judge that one for yourself. I’ve no idea," he said.
The exhibition, at the Getty Images Gallery in Eastcastle Street, London W1, is open to the public from July 26 until Aug. 10.
