Well, that's one baby gift that might be going back.
Among all the well-wishes and the pile of presents Kim Kardashian
and Kanye West
have received since welcoming their daughter
North in June, the new mom has come across one she didn't like: pajamas from Katie Couric.
On Friday, Kardashian Instagrammed a picture
of the polka dot sleeper set along with the card from Couric, in which she not only congratulates the couple, but also offers advice on a possible name
"Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition. Fondly, Katie Couric."
But the seemingly sweet gesture did not go over well with the reality star, who captioned the photo, "#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkS---"
Although Kardashian has not commented on the reason behind the rift, Couric's recent interview could be to blame. Couric said she didn't understand why the Kardashians are famous and guessed "mostly teenage girls" are fans.
Couric later released a statement: "I've met Kim before and I think she's a really sweet person. I was responding to a reporter's question, and explaining how I'm intrigued by the public's fascination with her family. I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye."
